Hi, Esther. Hope all is well. Just touching base about the ERC (Employee Retention Credit) Tax Credit and how it works.
Unfortunately, many businesses, churches, and non-profits don't know this tax credit exists and that you can still claim it…even if you received a PPP loan.
Almost all businesses, including those that were considered essential, were adversely impacted due to the pandemic. Anything that delayed, disrupted, or negatively changed your business because of covid, as minor as it may seem, could potentially qualify your business for a tax credit in the form of a refund check.
Here are some key points:
- This is a Federal COVID19 Relief Program for businesses and Non-Profits (Churches, Charities, Private Schools, Colleges, and Universities).
- Whether you lost revenue or not, or just a change in day-to-day operations, and you had W2 employees on payroll in 2020 and 2021, you are eligible to claim up to $26,000 per employee.
- This is an actual check you receive from the IRS.
- This is not a loan and there are no restrictions on how you use your refund.
- The amount you receive just depends on the time frame you had your W2 employees on payroll.
If you had employees on payroll in 2020 and 2021, and have still not received your tax credit, visit www.erc-facts.org to confirm your business is eligible.
This will take about 3 minutes to complete.
Once I receive your details, we can coordinate a time to speak directly.
Not with a glorified “specialist” (who is nothing more than a sales rep). An appointment to speak with myself who is an expert on the subject.
Simply put, Esther, there have been a lot of so-called “experts” promoting that have neither the experience nor qualifications to discuss the program with you.
Our CPA Firm has been in business over 35 years, and you get to know the CPA.
Sincerely, Paul Schween Heritage Consulting (602) 644-1733
