Work in Office 5 days a week.

Hours for the job will be 7-9 Hours per day as needed, they are flexible as to start and finish time.

2. Law Firm in Miami has an opening for an initiative taking and versatile HR Generalist with talent acquisition experience to join the team.

This is a full-time onsite role in Coral Gables, FL. The ideal candidate will manage the recruitment and onboarding processes of the Human Resources department, and assist with the benefits administration, compliance, and policy implementation. This role partners with leadership and team members to promote a positive workplace culture and support the organization's growth and success.


Key Responsibilities

Recruitment for legal staff & Onboarding

Manage full cycle recruiting across departments and different seniority levels, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, conflict checks, and offers for the law firm

Collaborate with hiring managers to define staffing needs and streamline the recruitment process

Coordinate and manage onboarding and orientation for new hires

HR Operations & Compliance

Maintain employee records and manage HR systems

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

Maintain and update HR policies and the employee handbook

Employee Relations & Culture

Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns

Benefits & Payroll Support

Support with employee benefits including enrollment, changes, and open enrollment processes

Liaise with payroll providers and assist in processing employee changes, including timecards and attendance tracking
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)

3+ years of progressive HR experience, including recruitment experience with law firms (preferred)

The ideal candidate will be confident, emotionally intelligent, and capable of working effectively with attorneys in challenging, high-pressure situations while maintaining professionalism

Comfortable supporting attorneys in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift quickly

Ability to act with urgency and provide prompt support for time critical requests

Ability to work independently and manage multiple HR functions with minimal supervision

Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices

High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ADP HRIS systems
