Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage the complete accounting cycle for our organization. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can work independently, ensure financial accuracy, and support management with timely and reliable financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full cycle of accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
• Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile bank and credit card accounts, and maintain accurate financial records
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage payroll processing, payroll taxes, and benefits reporting
• Prepare sales tax filings and assist with compliance requirements
• Coordinate with external CPAs for year-end close, audits, and tax preparation
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and expenses; report variances to management
• Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal and state regulations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting and GAAP
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality

Work Environment

• Full-time, on-site position in Miami, Florida
• Monday through Friday schedule

Compensation & Benefits

• $90,000 annual salary, commensurate with experience
• Benefits package include health insurance, paid time off, and holidays
