| How to Obtain the RIGHT Expert Opinion Letter |
|
|
| There are two steps to obtaining the RIGHT expert opinion letter: 1. Find the RIGHT Expert The expert you are looking for is NOT an instructor in the field. USCIS will not accept as valid a letter written by someone without extensive experience working in the FIELD of the H-1B job. That means, your expert must have at least ten years of experience working in the field of the H-1B job and be in high repute within the industry. This expert should have experience making hiring decisions, hiring employees to the H-1B job in question and setting wage levels based on education and work experience. 2. Provide Adequate Evidence and Documentation for the Expert The letter your expert can write is only as good as the information YOU provide. That means including as much information as you can about the position, the employer, and the H-1B employee. Provide the employee contract, the ad for the job, a detailed breakdown of the duties and responsibilities of the position, and documentation of past hiring practices. Include a breakdown of the factors that went into determining the wage level and provide information about the employee's education and professional background. Provide information about the employer as well. The more you can give the expert the better the letter will be. At CCI TheDegreePeople.com we work with the RIGHT kind of experts in every field, and can address multiple issues with just one letter. We are also starting a new PRIVATE Facebook group of attorneys and employers to discuss RFE strategies with each other.
